Urianger not popping

I would be very grateful if somebody could explain WHEN Urianger pops, or what the trigger is. I know WHERE he pops, and there is already a thread for WHERE.

He was last seen on Friday, 20 April, which is 5 days ago. Since then there has been no sighting in any of the city areas. I have personally been checking them almost every hour.

Also, today is patch day. Will the Urianger event be removed in this patch? How are we supposed to give him the faded pages if he does not pop?

I would like to know this too. I'll be camping these spots until server goes down.

I would imagine this has stopped now since it is now a new patch number and the events will be once again different. But if he is still up, its random, there is no obvious way of telling except when he appears and the journalist talks about it in town.

He popped today, 27th April, after patch 1.22! Ul'dah.
