Why are the savage clear rates in the JP Datacenter so much higher than NA?

Maybe japanese XIV players still remember like any jRPG (MMO or not, this is still one) you're expected to actually enjoy the PVE content in XIV and actually engage in it instead of wasting other people's time by playing poorly on purpose to watch Netflix.
I don't know every DC but the two I play in it feels more like a good chunk of the people I see talking or queuing HATE combat and just want to hurry up to goof off doing funny emotes in Limsa or Eulmore. And as a consequence of that just want every pve content to be short and simple. Those are players who aren't interested in a content that you're not gonna have any chance of clearing in a few tries like Savage.

There is NOTHING except language that prevents you from creating a character on a server in the Japanese Data Center and playing with all of those wonderful people you so greatly admire.

I'll give you about three months before you come screaming back to your current data centers because you can't take the pressure.

I dunno they wipe just as often in LoTA as us. They just have more people interested in savage/ex, really.

I'm on Primal and have no problem finding parties at every level, to be honest.

JP standardise everything.
No arguing for 10 minutes about mechanics before every pull, they just learn it one way and do it that way every time. Post a quick macro at the start of the duty, everyone calls out their position, and off they go.
There's also less emphasis over logs as well. People are expected to learn it in a learning party, and if they learn it well enough, they're expected to use their own discretion to judge if they're ready to join a clear party.

Japan has Akihabara for their... specific needs, while NA has to rely on Balmung to get their jollies.

Its amazing what can be accomplished when you're main focus in a game isn't to become a maid cafe owner.

I keep thinking about their post, like, are NA players elitist? Are we toxic casuals? Only one thing is for sure and that is we are in an ongoing identity crisis.

Wrong. They're a lot less populated take a look at the 4th column.

They get stuff done so fast because they're players that actually do content. Player on the NA servers for what ever reason don't even play this game. They're more interest in illegal ERP.
