Is there any reason FF14 does not have world quest?

I'd definitely appreciate more reasons to go out into the game world.

ESO consistently adds content that breathes new life into every zone - with the archaeology and theft systems being two such measures. It'd be neat if FFXIV became a bit bolder on that front.

Never heard of the Theft system. I think encouraging more people to go out into the world in a coordinated method would help.
