Level 35 Paladin quest is literally impossible

I have to defeat these Leapling Ringtails and it is literally impossible to do at level 35! I have failed like 15 times! The most that I was able to slay was six, but after I slayed the sixth, three more instantly show up! By then you are less than 10% health and absolutely NO heals.

Using my mitigation does not help as it has a really long cooldown! During cooldown, I take normal damage. I cannot use Reprisal either because whenever I use it, it aggros a bunch of surrounding non-aggressive monsters and I go down in a hurry so that is off the list.

Four or five of those bastards is enough! How TF do you expect us to kill SIX and THEN deal with three more at once?

Literally impossible at level 35.

I feel that some of these job quests require you to over-level before doing them.

Anyway, here I am again to say it isn't "literally impossible", because I and many others have already done it, and without being overleveled. Try to be more varied with your trolling, it's getting a bit obvious.

Skill level need to improve I assume. I never had issue unless I'm serverly undergeared.
But OP, there is a difficult selector if you happen to wipe on a solo duty.

I am NOT trolling. I am very frustrated with this quest because I have failed numerous times!

Been trying to complete it the last two hours on my Xerneas character and it is as I say. Kill 6, less than 10% health, three more mobs show up, die in a few hits. They make you do too many for that level.

Also, 'technical support' is a really bad place to tell SE anything other than stuff like:

1. I can't log in
2. My session keeps dropping
3. My game doesn't work after the last update

I recently did that quest and didn't have any issues (mind you, I'm not particularly good at this game). Are you using your chocobo? They make open world quests a LOT easier.

Three suggestions:

1. take along your chocobo companion, since that part of the quest is in the 'open' world. If the chocobo can heal, all the better
2. take along healing potions ... when you drop to 2/3, use one. They are in-game for a reason. There is no shame in self-healing.
3. after each wave, move back and wait for the next group to come after you, rather than standing by the burner all the time

No I am not. Surprisingly that never crossed my mind and it usually does. Maybe my frustration made me forget about it. I'd have to make a trip to the FC house to get my chocobo and come back.

I failed so much, I put Camp Overlook the home point so I wouldn't keep wasting gil

I will give my Chocobo a try reql quick
