Oh look, another Rokien thread complaining about this game being progressive in any way.

nothing is stopping you from having multiple chars. now. Nothing is wrong with multiple chars. Whats wrong is what can be done with them. It's one thing if you have to pay for em or don't have to pay for em.
HECK I even had 2 chars that I played in FFXI, so I'm not against that. The thing I'm against is what's gong to happen with inventory, retainers, everything else that can be exploited with having multiple chars.

What exactly is an inventory exploit anyway? I have upwards of 300 slots free on my retainers. My personal inventory is always full, obviously, but everyone who has full retainers is either a hoarder who needs to seek help, or is probably saving mats to craft later. Either way, their retainers shouldn't be as full as that. So I don't think the so-called exploits would ever be much of an issue. It's such a chore to leave stuff even in retainers, I cannot imagine the annoyance of somehow getting it all into your alt and then getting it back out. The inconvenience of it alone would stem "abuse".

Regarding retainers and economy, S.E. would probably restrict retainers across all characters. I can certainly see them doing that.

And with limited retainers/inventory slots, this would stem players from creating too many alts. Not to mention time!

At this point, I think you should start taking requests for your next thread topics. Left to your own devices, they're not turning out so well.

You haven't posted anything beyond "there could be inventory exploits" in this thread. Can you give me specific examples of what inventory exploits are?

the exploit he is referring to is just having character so you can transfer stuff to their inv(you would need a middle man of course, a LS friend or whatever)
