How often do you update your Market Board listings?

How often do you update your Market Board listings? And by that, I mean how often do you recall your retainer for purposes of either:

• adjusting the price of your listings; or
• placing a new product on the market.

Note that we're not counting ventures, depositing/withdrawing items or Gil.

I started crafting about 1-2 weeks ago, and putting items on MB. Now I've become totally hooked on it! The excitement you feel when when your product sells is so addictive, don't you think?

I'll usually check listings to see what's been sold and restock anything I sell on a regular basis at the same time I check the retainer for ventures. How often that is will depend on how much I'm playing that character that day (I have multiple alts). It will be at least once a day.

Checking to do price adjustments will vary depending on past experience selling the item. If it's something that sold daily in the past but hasn't for 2 or 3 days, I'll check to see what's happening with listings much faster. Items that I got as random drops or quick venture loot but don't normally sell I'll usually check once a week to see if it's worth continuing to list. I'll check high value but infrequently sold items at the same time.

Guess I've been crafting and selling too long for it to feel that exciting to me. It doesn't help that I don't have anything I really want to buy with the gil earned (though there's always the chance SE might add something in the future).

It was far more interesting when I had a goal for the gil I was earning (buying my house, as an example).

If I'm selling something worth 1 mil or more, I'll literally camp at the summoning bell, smoke and chill lol.

really depends.

if I feel like crafting to sell something, I will stand on the crafting board since I prefer people buy my things than the bot created things.

if I am putting up extra mats, I just list and forget

Whenever my retainers come back from ventures, and whenever i log on. my retainers go on ventures once an hour when im online, and it takes like 5 min to update/check on prices. a few hrs before im headed to bed i send them on the 18hr venture and let them be (unless ive got something to sell), after the 18hrs is up, (which is normally when im back on since im on every day-ish unless i need to let the sub lapse for a day or two) i check em again, pat em on the head, and go on my merry way.

Once a day. Often less if I'm lazy (I have more than enough gil at this stage) but when I'm actively selling items once a day is average for me.

Things generally sell fine for me. Playing undercut wars is tiring and markets are volatile so it doesn't always make a difference. Sometimes you get undercut twice, but an hour later 3 sales happen and yours sells anyway.

Not to often generally set and forget. I may check my listing when I boot my retainers out on a venture but I'm never in a rush for gils so I don't need to constantly be dropping dropping prices desperate for a quick sale.

Depending what I'm selling I usually price in the middle somewhere and my stuff still sells if you se the right quantities. Like oh hey top tier crafts need 3 of x item. So I'll list the ones I have for sale in stacks of 3. Even if they're 500-1000 gil higher than the cheapest listings I often find they sell first. Because people don't like buying excess

I have ten retainers but I'm trying to make a ton of gil before the expac. It's slow-going but I find updating pricing multiple times a day if the only way to keep up with 1) what's selling and 2) what's dropping price making it not worth crafting.

Once a day, maybe more if I'm in the mood. Why bother, with the market in the state it is now.
