But if Yoshi P doesn't want instanced housing...
If he maintains his unwavering interest in his neighborhood idea...
While instanced housing would solve a lot of problems, I'm not confident we'll ever get it.

The check that I'm proposing isn't for inactivity (which would still exist), it's for distinct subscription count within the FC. If they all have their FFXIV subs running for that duration, they wouldn't be affected by being inactive.
Then it would be nice to get an explanation of why, in a game where they stress they want players to enjoy the game and have many times made changes in response to player feedback, they insist on keeping a system that generates such anger and frustration.
How is it benefitting the game? How is it creating a more enjoyable player experience?
You're absolutely right and I hope it's asked soon. Then it would be nice to get an explanation of why, in a game where they stress they want players to enjoy the game and have many times made changes in response to player feedback, they insist on keeping a system that generates such anger and frustration.

Though somewhere in the games decade history something similar has probably been asked, and if anyone knows of such a time please tip us off.
The housing system does not need more rng why do people keep asking for more rng. Have we not had enough of it, has the rng in the current system not driven you batty enough?
Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!
The ironic thing is that if they turned apartments into instanced housing, complete with a roof top 'garden' for outdoor furnishings, it'd actually help his neighborhood concept since more people would be in the Wards decorating their apartments. It'd also provide a good gil-sink which the game desperately needs... But given how resistant the dev team is to even providing proper alternatives to the Ward system, not even necessitating it being replaced, I doubt it'll ever happen.
Reminds me of the phrase "there are no silver bullets - only lead bullets - and we have a werewolf to slay".The ironic thing is that if they turned apartments into instanced housing, complete with a roof top 'garden' for outdoor furnishings, it'd actually help his neighborhood concept since more people would be in the Wards decorating their apartments. welp...got tired of playing "click the placard" against a dozen other people. its unfortunate this pits the community against each other when housing is typically used as a community building feature. i will no longer participate in this manner. reading other suggestions here about the apartments yeah i agree if they would give an outdoor space and the ability to plant a garden i would have gone there a long time ago and never looked back. i hope they do something like that in the future.
Sings: "Whatever Yoooochi wants...Yoooochi gets"....Keep that in mind, you'll grow less gray hairs.
"Fanboy is gaming jargon used to describe an individual that has gone beyond the point of being a PC or console game fan and, during online chats or discussions, shifts to defend the program at all costs, unable to take any criticism or acknowledge any shortcomings of the game or gaming console."
