Though the cheat comment is not what I was referring to in regards to you getting testy. More so your general approach over something that largely boils down to a misunderstanding.
It can mean a great many things, including how I used it. Getting hung up on a word choice that can, at times, be interchanged with 'cheese' seems a little weird, ngl.

You are also making a broad assumption as to my general attitude and demeanor based on text alone. I've been pretty neutral this whole time aside from a few moments in the initial discussions where I was amused/confused. If you've taken the text otherwise, again, that's not really on me, sorry.

Missed my edit I did apologize for the misunderstanding thus negating the point I was trying to make. That a simple misunderstanding can be easily overlooked and apologized for no need to go back and forth.

Honestly, another easy solution is to have a job quest, or role quest that acts like a test you have to complete in order to be let out amongst the general population.

I don't need no fancy-schmancy parser to know that the dragoon spamming uncomboed chaos thrusts into sonic thrust probably isn't doing much damage at all.

How would that help? Like, all of you have made no secret of your belief that it's the maliciously lazy and bad leechers that are the problem. Their ilk will do the effort required to finish this job quest.. and then to go back to their usual behavior.

Don’t say “all of you” as if we’re all assuming this. Malicious laziness or just plain laziness it really doesn’t matter. Something to this vein though would be good if it teaches them the proper etiquette for their job. I would personally prefer it be put in the hall of the brave tutorial though, as that’s much earlier on. Earlier on means it would be less daunting for new players to all of a sudden he bombarded with the info later on and it would give them ample time to get used to it.

I imply no assumptions on the part of all of you, I imply a belief on the part of all of you. And you do believe it, this entire thread is filled with you all saying so.

It would teach everyone what level of play is expected of them and make the general populace better players for it even if the people you're describing still don't improve.

The thread is about people playing below average and wasting an excessive amount of their team's time for no real reason. Laziness is just one of them malicious or not.
You are making assumptions when you think the only problem everyone here has is lazy people when I can tell you at least everyone in this thread has turned off their brain and gone "lazy" in some content or another at one point because of how easy it is instead of going that extra mile to not miss that one GCD that they know they can hit or not slide casting.

More than a few of us have repeatedly told OP to do things like queue with a premade or using PF to avoid much of the issue, it keeps being ignored because it's not the solution OP wants. And hey, I can understand that, I personally see nothing wrong with SE doing things to inherently encourage self improvement as people play, rather than a philosophy of solidarity, ergo, others can and should make up for one persons deficiencies. Quite bluntly put however, as that is apparently needed, SE 'ain't gonna do shit' about it. So, what can you, any and all of you who have been collectively bemoaning the 'at least half' of your 'superbad' DF runs, do to resolve this issue for yourselves?

I can say a lot about Awha's chosen method, namely, very liberal usage of vote kick, but at least they are using means offered to them in the game to attempt to resolve this issue for themselves. The rest of you just keep complaining and only saying what SE needs to do, which they won't, or what the 'superbad' players being discussed need to do, which again.. they won't. You can queue as a premade, you can use PF, you can kick these bad apples, you can report them if they're griefing on top of refusing to make an effort, which one could perhaps under certain conditions also consider to be griefing in and of itself.

When it is so clear that SE has no desire to change this 'culture of enabling' the question should be 'what can I do to resolve this issue for myself?'. Because the easiest solution, namely SE doing something about it from the developer side, has already been eliminated.
I don't understand why you have a problem that people don't like that SE will do nothing to solve this problem but in fact preserves, protects, and hinders anyone who tries to go against it(one good example would be not being able to set duty complete on unreal dungeons last I checked.), at the same time getting in the way of people actually offering solutions to the underlying problem while you offer no actual solutions other than to hide yourself away from the community and liberally kick anyone you don't like, which people already do.

You can call it complaining or anything you really want but it's no different from any of the other mega threads begging for a change that will never happen.

I've always thought that they should expand the Hall of the Novice for every role. I also wish they would have a tutorial of sorts before even entering the first city for one's class/job. Maybe a Hall of the Novice expansion could have a "Novice" version required before entering Satasha, then a test of sorts at the start of every expansion like "Hall of the Adept/Expert/Master" based on the level, all of which require completion before entering the first dungeon of the expansion. Obviously it shouldn't be anything too crazy, but some standard stuff that people should know after a certain point should be tested.

Definitely hard agree with this. I especially like the start of each expansion idea as well. A way to help both novices and even returning players at the start of an expansion to remind them on how to play certain roles and jobs.
