PS5 Version not updating

After the maintenance yesterday I seem to be having issues getting the PS5 version to update. The PS4 version updated on it's own and will launch but when I launch the PS5 version it says it's trying to download the update but doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I've tried manually making the system check for an update and it confirms that there is one but it doesn't actually start any downloads.

I've tried the obvious of rebooting and power cycling the system. I've also tried restoring licenses for my PSN account just incase that might trigger something.

I do know that PSN was experiencing downtime when I first tried to launch the game but even after their servers came back up it still is acting the same way.

Tried everything again tonight, same deal. Completely reinstalled the PS5 version and it's working again.

Still not sure why the system and the game can see that it needs an update but both refuse to try and download it.
