Trust Wishlist

What is your trust wishlist? Character / job?

Possible spoilers:

The biggest role missing (imo) from the trusts is a fast ranged class (bard / dancer / machinist). Lyna was great, but we lost her after only 1 dungeon. I really wanted her to somehow be a permanent member, but storywise I get why she couldn't. We also lost our ninja (Ryne) since she's stuck on the first.

Arenvald - anything (probably paladin)

I don't care what those 2 play as, I just really liked their characters during stormblood and I think it would be so cool to dungeon dive with them in my party. I think listening to them bicker would be great.

Ryne wasn't a Ninja. And Ser Aymeric uses a Sword. And Flhamin can't fight. Anyways:

Fordola, Yugiri, Sadu, Hilda, Gosetsu, and everyone from the ninja questline.

Right, Ryne is basically a ROG (although her special Trust class was called 'Oracle of Light', it used the ROG class symbol). And you're right, Aymeric is a PLD through and through (although he'd be the Ishgardian version, not the Ul'dahn version that the player has).

As for F'lhaminn, she was once called the 'Songstress of Ul'dah' (she was renowned for her singing and dancing), and her involvement in the DNC Job quests, DNC would be a good fit for her (ignore the frumpy dress she wears now and her misdirecting grandmotherly charms, she has a resolve of steel and a temperment to match and could, figureatively at least, break you like an icepick - this was the woman who used to match wits with Thancred after all ).

Thancred was also a bard, initially, though not of the combat variety. Funnily, the Scions lack of a designated ranger was partly why I started playing machinist. It just... looks better to me to have everyone with different weapons. It’s almost a pet-peeve.

I'm a big Fordola sucker, so I'd go with Fordola.

I know she doesn't seems appreciated, most of my friends don't.

Since EW will march to Garlemald, I would expect Gaius to be the "guide character" like how Lyse narrated Stormblood or Ardbert did Shadowbringers.
But in an interview, Yoshida mentionned that Gaius would have a role but not a big one. So I doubt he'll be a Trust.

Also for trusts, I'd like for them to buff their damage. I found out that it was better to let them do the job each pull and AFK or something, because they'd simply use their overpowered actions.
A dungeon would take 25 minutes with trusts while helping them as a tank, 30 doing nothing except for mini bosses.

Trailers point to Emet-Selch being our new narrator. Tricky to catch in English trailers as it seems to be a different actor, but it’s Emet’s VO in other languages narrating the Endwalker trailer.

I think Fordola’s getting promoted, too, but I expect her to tank as a Gladiator and G’raha remaining the all rounder unless she takes up the new melee job.

I wish they would give Krile more actual screentime and add her to the trust system, as some sort of White Mage of course.

I’m happy to see fellow Fordola appreciators in here. I would like her in Trusts as well.

Aside from Fordola, I would like Sadu and Magnai. I think they could have some pretty fun interactions, and I never get tired of their dynamic.
