    Castrum Fluminis crashing

    I am having an issue after completing Castrum Fluminis. DirectX 11 crashes every time I try to go into a trial so I switch to DirectX 9 when I need to enter one. It would now seem that DirectX 9 crashes the game when a cutscene is started so I have completed Castrum Fluminis for the story and am trying to see the ending scene for the story but it crashes either way no matter what I run now. Just seeing if there is any way around this

    How long have you been experiencing this issue? Were any updates or changes made to the PC at the time of the crash? Additionally could you provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
