The bigger the group, the easier it is to carry a single person. In a raid/ex trial, you have 7 other people to carry you. In a dungeon, that number is reduced to 3 people.

I definitely have VERY good runs, and very bad runs, of the same content. Though, for the past while I've mostly been focusing on one raid...and running it 4x a day to finish it off, I've noticed that I get very tired if I do it more than that. Only another 48 runs of it though, so there is that bonus point.
The only hard content that I'm unable to do its finding people to clear content.
Maybe its because you simply forgot the mechanics for other dungeons? Its hard to remember all these mechanics tbh.
Ye old content even at min ilvl and no echo gets a huge buff in comparison to old days of much harder rotations and other inflation problems. If you wanna test yourself then start by chasing pinks/oranges in current content and then savage. After all that ultimate since we have plenty of time. Dungeons are not something to rly judge yourself by IMO. You sound motivated so get it
Sometimes it could be an issue of WHO you are playing with that causes you to all of a sudden not be as good as you usually are.
There is certain content where I struggle to keep my brain from shutting off, like the crystal tower raids, so I can sort of understand.
This is why, one dream of mine which i know will very likely never be seen is a version of minimum item level that not only syncs your level and item level down but also resets your job to the job with skills and traits it was on the day that content was released. I have an acute FOMO of xiv 2.0 and onwards, seeing as i started in patch 5.2.. I never even got to experience TP!The content you are talking is so far back you had cross-class skills when it originally came out, all of the above is irrelevant content and is not a good place to get a scope of your skill as a player.
The content has been nerfed and jobs have been adjusted over the expansions and that does not get unerfed/unchanged regardless of if you do minimum ilevel and no echo the experience you will get now versus the experience people who originally did it when it came out will be vastly different.
Yeah the fact people will never be able(forced) to experience thunder god from monastery in its full atrocity makes me very sad. I miss the laughs thunder daddy gave me.This is why, one dream of mine which i know will very likely never be seen is a version of minimum item level that not only syncs your level and item level down but also resets your job to the job with skills and traits it was on the day that content was released.
