Being both good AND bad at the game?

Well we all have our own version of 'good'. Just because I don't bother to try to get those high percentile numbers doesn't mean I completely suck. I can't see how that can possibly be fun, spending hours and hours just for the sake of having high numbers which get you nothing for the time spent other than bragging rights and being good at a silly game.

(Honestly, kind of like clearing the harder stuff to begin with. LOL But much less work. )

When I say 'good', I am not talking about having super high numbers and being awesome at any job I do. I am just talking about being able to clear harder content at the lowest level possible. But then again, I can't control other people's perceptions of the word 'good', so yes, some will say I am not according to their higher standards.

I am totally happy with just getting the achievement of clearing harder stuff, which many players either can't or never bother trying to do. Even more so on MINE level.

So for me, it is 'good' enough.

Every type of relevant content has a dps check in it so while high percentiles aren't anything great they measure how well the game wants you to play.

If you have a different way you like to play that the game doesn't like then you need to specify that clearly before asking or stating anything. Especially when you have your very own definition of the word "good".
It's also ironic you would use the perseverance towards improvement as somehow being a slight to said people when you are coming the forums wanting to know why you can't do dungeon content without struggling unironically after having done such "hard" content that requires a certain level of skill to clear.

When people are talking about 'good' they are not talking about numbers either nor, are they talking about a specific job they are talking about the will and the bearings required to become better while understanding that failure is natural and the only way to go is up.

You unironically and literally just admitted to only wanting to be good enough to be carried through content.

Wishing your teammates were pulling their own weight in a team game is not high(er) standards, you are the irregularity.

If that's good enough for you that's fine but don't ask objective questions and then get uppity when you get objective answers.
