cutscene in this game are ridiculous long. so ether you need to make it so that we can back out of a cutscene nor just skip it, or make it so that if you do not click on the que notice. it does not count toward the penalty. which is stupidly to long. 30 freaking min. that is asda choice cow droppings.,

You only get hit with the penalty when you withdraw 4 times (in a day I think). A single cutscene isn't going to do that for you.

I thought if you accept the queue without cancelling/skipping the cutscene, you can come back and redo the quest and watch the cutscene again. Am I wrong on that?

no i was doing my roulettes wiled doing my main story quests. and with those long wait for the que combined with the long cutscene. means it is east to be in a cutscene when the que pops. so stop thinks just because someone calls out the devs on the bs in this game. does not make it a troll post.

There's no penalty just for rejecting a duty once, and generally you can commence the duty without leaving the cutscene or skipping it as long as you are currently the correct job.

That said, some cutscenes don't let you do that, and it's frustrating if you've been sitting in a queue for a while and your choice is to skip the cutscene to accept it or face the long wait over again.

Generally I work around it by trying not to get into cutscenes while queuing for stuff, and do other activities like minor sidequests or sorting out retainers and glamours.

IDC about penalty! As when im underlevled or leveling another job alongside MSQ and que for leveling or a trial then watching somthing in the downtime just to be qued! this happened so many times and these were DPS ques so the wait was 10-40min long just to be cut short

Like other people have said, you only get the 30 minute penalty if you've cancelled queues a few times in a single day, so that sounds like a you problem.

Though, on the subject, I got screwed out of a queue once because I happened to teleport to Limsa and it popped while I was in the loading screen, and of course with everyone crammed in there it took too long and I had to re-queue. There should be some kind of "please wait I'm here I just can't ready up" button you can press while otherwise engaged. Even if it makes you load in to the duty slightly later than everyone, at least you'd make it. That loading screen taking so long wasn't even my fault. Luckily I didn't get a penalty because it was my first drop out of the day, so I just re-queued and moved on. Something OP should consider.
