No we have to account for, monitor, and maybe even raise other peoples kids, so all the virtue signalers and morality police can be happy, every meme, joke, conversation has to now be made family friendly. Taking a shower? family friendly, changing out of your work clothes? make it family, friendly. /s

My sarcasm aside I dont blame you, I personally dislike being near children, and for what its worth in the off chance a kid is playing this and not fortnite, their parents should watch them, monitor them, keep them away from others. Cuz while GMs may temp ban you for swearing, the profanity filter is enabled by default, if its off thats on YOUR KID, if your child joins an FC and engages in adult conversation, thats on YOUR KID, if they're really out here dming people on Discord for feet pics, thats an issue with you and your kid, Not the world.

By the logic presented here kids shouldn't be on discord, reddit, youtube,tiktok, they shouldn't be on the internet period. To expect every space to care about your kid is p funny, especially in an online game, no ones gonna stop, SE is already bad about enforcing half their own ToS cuz its a grey area, and any other MMO would literally just tell you to watch your kid, in fact,most have it on loading screens thats if you;re under 16-18, have your guardian with you, XIV is the black sheep in that regard. If they can't cover they're own ToS half the time, don't expect adults minding their own business to.

Edit: Also to make matters even more funnier, if kids are so precious, why are they unattended baseline in a game online, alone, with out parental supervision. How is this anyone elses problem, if the parents can't even be bothered to keep an eye on their own impersionalable kids, who are obviously so fragile, obviously so in need of sheltering from the world. Cuz trust me, if they dont see feet fetish stuff on FF they're probably looking into on their own, a friend showeed them it, or they've seen it on reddit, tik tok, youtube, discord.. again it writes itself. Keep kids off of online games and the internet if these things can;t stand up to dated moral grandstanding.

Think it has something to do with kids having poor judgement or something and as adults we must protect children. Kids are responsible yet not responsible for the actions the commit as a child cause they do not understand consequences of their actions or something. So as well adjusted adults we must educate other people’s children.

Well you would want to care for it to some degree if you want to continue to have access to your account. No one is saying you are obligated to report anything fishy you see, but you are obligated to not act in a way that violates the ToS and that includes not engaging in 18+ content. We all agreed to this when we created our accounts. You can't play the game unless you accept the terms of the ToS. At the very least you are responsible for your actions.

You should care if you value your account and ability to play FFXIV. Because rule breaking is a good way to get banned.
