Well yes, I wasn't innocent as a teen and I was also underaged drinker, when I got ID'd once, one of my school teachers who was there actually bought our drinks for us because despite obviously being underaged, we were responsible. That teacher would probably have been arrested if caught.

And my parents let me grow up on all kinds of things that aren't teen rated, that was their decision as parents and it didn't negatively affect me. But the library wouldn't let me check out any Stephen King novels, I couldn't buy the Silence of the Lambs movie and rightly so. Arguably there is a range of maturity among minors and there are aspects in which they are still vulnerable, so in this respect a business probably shouldn't be making that call and the law is meant to account or that when they set when somebody is legally an adult.

And this is still a teen rated game with minors. The devs have to take a stance on this one to keep on the right side of the law regardless of what moral argument you can make. Because ultimately, the court isn't going to look in favour of somebody soliciting lewd pictures to minors (not that I think feet are lewd, I know people are doing this for the memes) or if engaging in virtual sexual activity with minors.
