PVP REWARDS SUGGESTION (FEAST)

This forum is my suggestions for PvP and how to get more players to enter and to utilize ffxiv already implemented assets with low dev time.

1. Raise the cap on wolf coins: for current and continuing pvp wolf coin cap seems to be a major issue.

2. Prior feast top 100 armors into the wolf collar rewards after their 20 season (legacy). We are close to Feast Season 20, as for players who have not ever had the chance to play pvp in prior feast content arrive this armor lock out is a big issue unlike the core battle content. I'm not saying diminish the standings of prior top 100 that is why they get to wear the glam for 20 feast seasons. plus keeping the rewards as wolf collar makes feast running a HUGE priority to the glam community of ffxiv which is the communities "true end game". If you want a suggested price on the coffer well PVP platumum wolf collar should be the price. Also SE Devs can make them idk a different color like blue or white and make it undyeable. This adds still exclusivity to FEAST but also allows continual rewards for players to keep playing the content seasonally. (whisper) plus if 100 bots end up winning the top 100 spots for the season then people can still get the armor models later on.

3.Put legacy Feast mounts into the wolf coin/marks rewards: As I stated any feast item what is older than 20 seasons should be considered legacy bring in the top 100 mounts after legacy with a pale hue but have each of the prices at cap wolf marks/coins and you will see a huge influx of players coming into regulars pvp content.

you can remove top100 leaderboard if you give out rewards like that

bots can farm wolfmarks in frontline, you set that on the same level as someone getting top100 in their datacenter then - massive devalue

if anything PvE content should get more exclusives too, e.g special rewards for groups who clear an ultimate during the patch it was released in

there are lots of items in this game you will never have, legacy mounts, legacy tattoos, legacy reduced subscription fee, old seasonal event titles, cool 1.0 titles, special promotional events, special rl items that came with itemcodes that weren't put in the mogstation like music + item codes for minions etc.

I think you betray the promise of pvp exclusivity and you make the playerbase achievements feel irrelevant if you give them out like that, some new people really invested a lot of time getting top100 in a competitive season

This game doesn't have any rare items anymore, just PvP ranked items and very few exceptions, everything else is very easy to get, not much worth to play for

I don't think you are wrong about your comments. There are a lot of items that we wont get unless we are there; The big issues with PVP is that outside of feast there is no continued content for rewards to draw in a more casual player base. I don't want to get rid of the top 100 standings and rewards. I am suggesting that SE try to cycle in rewards such as mounts and armor for the more casual pvp players.

I'm just saying instead of creating new resources for rewards there are legacy content they can use like the t100 pvp armor designs to move them into a more casual reward. also to make them a different effect or color to distinguish the t100 armor from the casual armors. its been since 5.1 since any rewards have been added to casual runners of pvp. I don't intend them to remove the exclusivity of the content or rewards from it but i do think they need to create a bigger pool for rewards. to draw in more players and utilize assets already in the game.

also some ultimate players are hoping that they turn the ultimate rewards to a completion tome base again like stormblood and add mounts but those are just hopes. if you think about it you can get the ultimate weapons with a different color they are just artifact weapons there is no grandeur around the design other than the effect. sooo are the ultimate weapon designs exclusive or just the effects?

Ultimate rewards can still be obtained four years after the content's initial relevance. Feast mounts, on the other hand, can't. In fact, they are the only reward in the entire game that with time exclusivity and a limitation on how many can be obtained. Everything else, including Ultimate, Necromancer and fishing, all some of the rarest or most difficult achievements to get, have been made easier to varying degrees throughout the years.

The only reason for this exception is due to PvP being on life support and the devs desperately trying to get some degree of interest.

Now I'm not saying they should necessarily be as easy as farming 20,000 Wolf Marks. But they should be obtainable.
