Monster Hunter: Rising Crossover Event?

Hopefully we get no more crossover events at all. I don't really know why Japanese studios do them in the first place. It really cheapens the experience, in my opinion. Very jarring.

It's advertising.
It's not for the sake of the game, it's for the sake of the corporations.
