(only because clicking is famous to poke at, I honestly don't care lol - you can be good and click).
Personally I set mine up similar to how I play a MOBA, FPS, or other sRPGs. What I mean by that is I use a lot of the letters and low numbers, 1 2 3 4 5 q e r t y, f, g, z, x, c, v - keys like that. That way I play entirely with my left hand focused in the left sphere of the keyboard. With less used abilities being farther away or combinations. On my mouse I've also keybound my combo key (so I can reach other rows without 'having' to claw my hand up; although, I still do sometimes . . lol).

I am not sure whether you are playing on PS4 or PC, but i do know that keybindings are stored in the Documents\My Games\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn\KEYBIND.DAT file, would it not perhaps be possible to use an external program to keep copies of this file and then select them using say, a system tray icon when you want to switch jobs? The only caveat I foresee is that it may not load the keybinds if the game is already running and the file changes, which would mean a logout every time you wanted to change keybinds, or worse a restart of the game.
That's what i thought but indeed, i don't think this method would work without rebooting the game :/I am not sure whether you are playing on PS4 or PC, but i do know that keybindings are stored in the Documents\My Games\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn\KEYBIND.DAT file, would it not perhaps be possible to use an external program to keep copies of this file and then select them using say, a system tray icon when you want to switch jobs? Thanks for your suggestion tho !!
