Triple Triad: NPCs using illegal decks

As you can see here, NPCs have different limitations for how many 4 and 5 star cards they can use in their deck.

The player rule is one 5 star card and one 4 star card, OR two 4 star cards and no 5 star cards.

    Suggested possible fixes:
    1. Change NPCs to abide by the same rules as the player.
    2. Change the rare card limitations for players to match NPCs.
    3. Remove the rare card limitation altogether as frankly it hinders enjoyment of Triple Triad in general (An option to turn limits on for PvP Triple Triad matches if people want them would be okay)

Unfortunately NPCs are not bound by the player TT deck rules, and instead we need to use what we can with the restrictions imposed upon us to beat them. Be grateful we can now use a 4 star alongside a 5 star card.

Well known, working as intended, as far as I know.

Doesn't Final Fantasy have a (proud?) tradition of NPCs cheating at card games?
Like with fighting games, theres only so much they can realistically (and reasonably with a budget) do to make an AI good. Making them cheat is just a way to keep them challenging the players. If AI had fair decks I think we would steamroll more of them than we realize.

lol as someone who got all of the cards from NPCs before they buffed player decks, you should have nothing to complaining about now that players decks have also received some buffs. There wasn't really even a "difficult" NPC before, and so there certainly shouldn't be now. The only thing that can be annoying honestly are the rulesets (Same, Plus, Chaos, Order, Swap), but because you can know the card pool that a given NPC is drawing from, even that's not too bad tbh.
