Again, just 'being' inside a house doesn't stop the automatic demolition - you/the home owner have to make use of house functions like summoning a retainer or moving furniture around. Just standing in it chatting on a linkshell does not stop the demolition timer. Many players have been caught out by this, and I'm pretty sure SE would look at this and make the same conclusion.
