The problem is, of course, how to actually implement this without it just ending up being a giant pile of extra work on the developers, and with it somehow being equally applicable for Tanks and Healers.

At the end of the day, I guess I just settle on wishing the game itself was more proactive in giving direction and teaching instead of foisting it all off on the players.
Didn't the XV battle system do that? But that was a single player game, so if you didn't get an A, it was 100% your own fault.

Personally, I know when I screwed up my rotation. I don't need the game (or an illegal system like FFlogs) to tell me that much.

But having this in single duty instances (something like Sapphire weapon) or the training stuff (Training Dummy DPS report card mode or the Sky Steel Stone w/e things) might give folks a clue on how to tighten their rotation without relying on the ever fickle whims of other players. I can't get mad when the game itself tells me I suck.
