    Rhaervis, I'm having the same errors as OP. I'm however running a Mac version of the client. I know it's basically the windows version in a Wine64 loader, but I've been getting these errors constantly. Sometimes I can play for an hour or two without the error, but other times it will error within a few minutes of loading the game. I've been following this thread for a few days, but waited to comment as I was hoping the patch 5.5 hot fix that was performed last night might help with the issue. Unfortunately it has not. I have tried a number of steps, such as making sure I have no other apps open and running while playing, and even deleting and reinstalling the game. I reinstalled after trying a few suggested fixes from the forum such as removing the config file and starting a fresh one, even removing the wine64-preloader file from the package contents as suggested by some other Mac users. I tried to get the system information as suggested by Dynratygus earlier in the thread, but my menu appears to be different in the launcher. I've been playing several months without any issues, then patch 5.5 was released, which I downloaded and installed, then I had the battery in my laptop replaced and the errors started. That's when I started with the various troubleshooting steps, and reinstalled the game. Any other steps or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I am at the point of cancelling my subscription and deleting the game.

    5) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
    6) Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card
    7) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything
    8) Install Windows, Steam, and FINAL FANTASY XIV onto the same drive (preferably the C:/ drive)

    1.) No overheating, solid 60C. No overclocks.
    2.) No custom configurations save a limiter of 60 FPS applied globally. Attempting to run the game solely through Steam and having no other programs active reproduces same error.
    3.) I have none. Same error.
    4.) I have done so. Same error.
    5.) Only the SSD the game is located on. However, I have installed Steam and FF14 to the C drive on my machine, same as Windows' location, and reproduced the same error.
    6.) Attempted to do so, both rolling back as well as making sure I have the most current drivers. Reproducing same error.
    7.) Attempted to do so. Same error.
    8.) See 5.

    As of this moment, 4:21 PM of 4/29/2021, I experienced yet another crash midway through Frontlines as I was being attacked. This time, no errors. Just straight CTD.

    Good afternoon and thank you for the reply.

    Could you try using a registry cleaner such as CC cleaner? It will run and remove files that may have been left behind by installation another activity on the PC. To so, please remove the game and then restart the PC. Run the registry cleaner and then restart the computer. Once the computer has been reset please reinstall the game again. After reinstalling the game, please restart the PC once more. Once the PC has been reset, please launch the game.

    8:46 Pm, 4/29/2021. Crash with DX11 error, occurred on the elevator up to the final boss of the third YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse raid.



    Attempting to log back in reproduces same error.

    You've cost me a run/attempt at the hair, Square.

    EDIT: Looking back, it's the same exact errors on the first three lines as before as the previous iterations of the FFXIV_dx11 executable. This has persisted through several patches/hotfixes since April 6th. The failure to address this is concerning enough, let alone the myriad similar reports now flooding these forums.

    Please address the issue properly.

    Same here , but my game doesnt crash , instead sometimes when i try opening a menu (fc tab for example) it doesnt load for atleast 5 seconds and the sound is delayed and when i enter populated areas the character models take forever to load
    the issue seems to be fixed when switching to Directx9 but i dont really wanna play on DX9.

    CTD again today in Bozja prior to a Critical Engagement as I was typing in say.

    No error window. Straight crash to desktop.

    EDIT: Attempting to return in DX9. Made it in time for Critical Engagement. Upon completion, this error window popped up and another crash.



    EDIT 2: As a last ditch effort, I have performed a complete factory reset on my machine and re-updated drivers and redownloaded a fresh install of the game. Any crash at this point from such a pure place of being... I don't even know anymore.

    Despite a factory reset of my entire computer and the only thing apart from that being an update of my nVidia drivers and a complete new install of the game, this error still occurred, just now, trying to pop into the Ghimlyt Dark.

    However, I believe I may have finally found the problem and fixed it.

    Instead of copying over my Steam folder and all to C from my SSD, what I did was install Steam onto the C drive after this factory reset and installed FF14 through it. After seeing that what was crashing me wasn't occurring anymore, I proceded to copy/merge this entire new Steam folder from C to the one on my SSD after deleting the FF14 folder from the SSD's Steam folder as well to be absolutely safe.

    This new copy seems to not be causing me crashes. I was able to get into Ghimlyt Dark successfully after the fact.

    Will monitor the situation going forward. But I encourage folks suffering similar problems to maybe attempt a parallel fresh install apart from the error-ing version's drive and merge similarly.

    This fixed my problem it seems. Haven't played to much but I was able to teleport to other places which is where it was crashing for me.
