Any one handed crossbows?

Are there any one handed crossbow type weapons in game? Either as Archer or Machinist?

for mch? maybe but highly doubtful. none come straight to mind

Nothing comes to mind immediately for BRD, everything as far as I can recall is pretty Bow/Greatbow like.
Nothing really comes to mind for MCH either, with the sole exception being the Edenchoir Arquebus, and that's really stretching it honestly.

There are no actual crossbow weapons in the game, no. The closest you can get is the MCH ability Autocrossbow (which is a reference to Edgar's infamous Tool weapon/ability of the same name from FFVI). Having said that, Starseeker, Serah's bow from FFXIII-2, is sort of a mechanical bow, but it's not a crossbow specifically (it's more of a compound bow).

There is one ShB bow that is modeled after a crossbow...

But sadly, due to the way the animation works, it will never be wielded like an actual crossbow, despite the looks.
