First, let me say right away I understand that until 2.0 that a number of issues will remain, however, the issue I'm having doesn't seem to be exactly due to that.

My computer:

Asus G73-A1 RoG

i7 2630QM
8Gb DDR3
GTX 460M - 1.5Gb vDDR5
2x 500 SSD Hybrid HDD

Let me begin with that until recently there was some tearing/hiccups, but nothing else out of ordinary. I could play the game on my laptop without issue for the most part other than what we're already accustomed to as issues pre-2.0 release. However, recently - maybe since 1.21a - I've had issues with choppy frames and camera stuttering. Nothing was changed on my end or updated. The problem persisted and the computer was operating within nominal temperatures and wasn't in any sort of reduced power mode.

When I move my character the screen will chop something fierce to the point that its basically unplayable now on my laptop.

What I've done/tried:

Updated to most recent nVidia (stable) release.
Checked Bios revisions and other driver updates with Asus.
Double checked nVidia control panel to ensure nothing was amiss or changed.
Downloaded and tried ThrottleStop to prevent faulty issue of Intel chipsets under heavy load.

If I put all settings on low (which makes the game just look horrible in comparison) it alleviates most of the problem. However, I've been able to play at 1920x1080 at standard quality with no AA and ambient occlusion turned off without issue for months now.

I realize the GTX460M is not a desktop version of a GTX460 so let's please nix that whole reply before its started. I'm looking for answers or people experiencing same issues so that I can figure out what the heck is exactly going on with my machine.

I already have to deal with Ambient Occlusion being turned off on my beast desktop because of the faulty graphics engine, but this problem suddenly arising on my laptop is a bit irksome.

Any and all help is appreciated, thanks!
