I want more cross-over raids. Even though they said they were going back to the original stuff i bet you they will still make cross-over raids. If FFXIV is going to be going on for a while after Endwalker, they will add more cross-over raids. Just not in Endwalker. I don't see why OP hated it. The music and fights were absolutely amazing. As for lore - a little mess. But overall still great.

I still hope they do a FFVII Remake cross-over raid where we bomb the reactors and raid the Shinra HQ. Would love that.

Let's just state this : for some people (seems like a minority, but oh well...)
"Cross-over" raid FF Related : Yes
"Cross-over" raid NOT FF Related : No. Just no

Depends a lot on how people envision what "Collaborations" intel, but I am one who prefers seeing Collaborations as side content only. Not replacing a main content (which to me raids are considered as)

FF is a Theme Park, I get it, but i'd rather see that "Theme Park" mostly FF-related (so i'd rather keep unrelated FF content as "minimum" as possible)

I get that people are enjoying these collabs, and also some would like to see more big collab.

And Shinra hq raid? Just play ffbe if you want a raid like that.

I don't mind crossover events, but alliance raids are the time and place for the devs to expand ffxiv lore and word building.

To be fair, even Yorha still does that. The latest quests have us taking materials from the raids for the dwarves to use and/or trade/sell to others. It may end up going nowhere in terms of story, but it's still laying the foundation for a potential future storyline, whether as part of the progress in the First or something else.

The gear was the worst. Where was the sweet Android assault armor? All we got was black cloth this and that. The 3rd raid was just to sell a dumb remake game. The bosses with the exception of the final one were generic.

The second raid was great except for the final boss. I didn’t like the generic orb/slime girl.

The first raid was was perfect except for 2P.

The story was meh. We should’ve met up with 9s and 2b as the main characters not lalas and and 2P.
