    DualSense Features on PC

Hi y'all. Do you believe the dev team would ever enable all the features of the DualSense controller for us when using it on PC?
I personally think it would sweet to have access to the controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers like the PS5 version has when playing on PC.
Also, would you guys want this feature added?

It's my understanding it is not possible. PS5 only.

Is that confirmed? I know on Steam a lot of the features have been unlocked on the community. Touchpad, gyro controls, and the light bar. Haptic feedback and the adaptive triggers have some advances made, but they are still a work in progress. This is just the community working on it. I feel like SE would be able to do it (if it is actually possible)

It's hardwired in PS5 firmware/OS to my understanding. I'm not an expert but that what I grasp from reading into it. Sure some 3rd party tool from community is a likely scenario but that doesn't mean SE can go ahead and enable it in their game.

So it's more of a question wherever Sony will allow 3rd parties to utilize their tech in games that isn't PS5 only.

I would also like the controller's speaker functionality, it's pretty cool when the queue pops (on PS5), maybe Sony could sell a PC wireless adapter that unlocked all the controller's features.

Square Enix, if your reading this you can also add options to control the intensity of the haptic feedback/vibration, I have very sensitive hands and find the rumbling too hard, I would like to adjust the strength.

I doubt it's impossible. Even if it's not going to get official support there's probably 3rd parties that will add support for it.

This seems like a likely scenario like how they added a usb dongle for DS4 (even if there was already 3rd party support around and apps like DS4win)

That is a good point. I didn't realize it was linked to Sony's firmware. If that is indeed the situation they would need Sony's approval. Which sadly I believe would be unlikely.
