Resistance weapon replica complaint

I just turned in the loathsome memories resistance weapon quest for astrologian, so I got my base law’s order weapon. I lost my beautiful glowy solstice recollection so I went to Regana and she only sells the base solstice with no glow, the only recollection she has was for scholar which I completed up to augmented laws order.

So I’m assuming this means I have to complete the augmented laws order version of EVERY weapon to get their recollection glow replicas...this isn’t true for any previous expansion at all. Why did they change this for these weapons? It doesn’t make sense, I should be able to buy previous step replicas as soon as I complete the next step.

Now I have to run DR fifteen more times just to get a replica that I ALREADY grounded for, because I don’t care about the augmented law’s order for Astro. This is just bad design and I hope it’s reverted back to how previous expansion relic replicas worked—ie u get the replica as soon as you complete the next step

Yes you get the recollection with the completion of the 515 Law and Order version. I glamour'd a 510 crafted cause i didn't want to lose my branch.

It shouldn’t be that way. It should be I unlock the replica as soon as I turn in that weapon for the completing next step. I shouldn’t ever be locked out of using a glamour that I already unlocked. It doesn’t work like this for any other relic weapon, and it shouldn’t work like this for shadowbringers. I repeat, I shouldn’t be locked out of using a weapon glamour that I already completed. It should be available to me as soon as I turn in that weapon and lose it

I found it annoying personally. I too think once you have one you should be able to get a replica when you are forced to give it up.

Actually, it did this for the HW Anima weapons too, because I had the exact same complaint. You couldn't get a replica until you finished an entire 'leg' of the relic.

I saved my glowy branch for WHM to a glamour plate before getting any other step. I dont like the weapons you get after that phase for any of the jobs, so I've been saving the ones corresponding to the jobs I use most into glam plates.

I’m actually pretty irritated by this because I also didn’t realize this. I don’t want to lose my glamour while I slowly trudge through a ridiculous amount of DRs. Does anyone know if you can keep collecting memories after you get the 15? Do all of them disappear when you turn in the quest? I only have one set of pretty DNC weapons.

No you can collect as many as you like and save them up between quests.
That's why it's handy to have a weapon at each stage of the process, with each quest active, so you're constantly gaining memories to use on later weapons.

Honestly, I love the Augmented Law's Order Astrometer. It is a beautifully detailed art work. Many thanks for the creator. Only one thing I could mention what I hate on it. The hanky. What's the purpose of it?? Why not a perl charm for example? A glowing perl charm. or an astro card charm.

The reason it works that way is that the replicas are tied to checking for an achievement, and they don't tie an achievement to every step, only to big waymarks.
