It is 6 Aloalo potsherds from the new Aloalo Island normal mode variant dungeon. Only 2 runs so very inexpensive. I imagine it will also be available for purchase on the market board once people get down to farming the variant over the next week.

awww thank you so much! It really does look lovely on your character! Problem I now have is I was bored and changed to my old Cat from Midlander.....now If I prefer it on her I might have to switch back lol. I wish there was a way to see a preview of hairstyles somehow.

The hair looks surprisingly great on your viera! Considering how the last few hairs (except gyr abanian plait) have looked- I figured they'd botch Durante's hair too, but no! That's great news

Durante's hair we've only had to wait a patch or two for but years later, we're still waiting on Hilda hair..

Love the new hairstyle, too bad it wasn't a little bit thicker in the back as it is it clips through armor.

I got the new hairstyle for my Miqo'te and it was 90% what I was hoping for:

(Still not actually long enough to match what the braided ponytail must look like undone, but close enough.)

The braids encroach a bit too much onto the face for my liking (it's sitting right over his eye markings) but it's still a nicer fit than the other recent ones.

The handling of the braids around the ears isn't ideal -- at minimum I really wish they had tweaked the third tie so it is fully visible and not vanishing into the ear, and also (though I didn't take a screenshot) from behind it looks a little disappointing as there is a scruffy filler bit of fur between the main ear texture and the long hair, and it catches the light on a different angle to the surrounding parts so it looks a different colour.

Until I tried it on, I had in mind for some reason that the ties were gold. Maybe that was wishful thinking on my part from before we had more to go on than that one washed-out flashback image of it.

Also, while I don't have highlights set up here, they are an interesting design with the highlight colour woven through the braids and then merging out into the rest of the hair.


On a side note, we need more dark brown options for hair colour. I wanted his hair colour to be really dark brown-black but there is nothing, and pure black looked too potent, so I had to settle for the darkest muted purple and it's still not quite right.

I like that this time around they adapted the "human ear" area in a fairly neat way. Some of the older haircuts certainly could use same treatment.

I am really pleased with the hair it is stunning on all races. I actually prefer it on Miqot'e. I have not really seen it much on Hyur females which is my other character choice when I get bored. I did notice there is a wider gap on Hyur where the ears go, but it looks better from the side on cat.
