I'm still quite the opposite, I'd like more actual short hairstyles - fades, buzzcuts, mohawks, wolf tails, buns, cowlicks, straight up bald, idk. I'm tired of cutesy """unisex""" ponytails, braids, and bobs that are very obiously designed with female characters in mind. Give male characters the spotlight for once

Def more short hairs for males- short hairs done right that is. Not bowl cuts or weird tribal designs shaved into it or braids. Like is the hair long on one side??

If SE would release 4-5 short, nicely done male hairs as well as long hairs for females (examples that we've been requesting which are long wavy/curly/ stylish)- I'd be in heaven
And then continue to release well done hairs people have requested

You mean the one I use? lol yeh the little side braids are silly, but most people don't even notice they're there. I've been using it since 4.0 cuz every other one is too long and/or cutesy for my taste.

I think more people would benefit if we got to alternate between more masculine and feminine styles, either short or long. At the very least, that'd bring more diversity than just anime hair/bob #524

As a sidenote, counting Lyse and the upcoming Alisaie, we've got 5 ponytails with bangs in a row. Totally no bias there, nope, not at all. That said, I recall an upcoming hairstyle is a short spiky one but can't find any images.
