Please Add a Totem Trade-in for Varis yae Galvus Card

This fight needs a trade-in for the TT card.

Unlike the other EX fights that have mounts, weapons, and crafting materials worth gil to continually gain support in PF, this fight has glamours that can be gotten in very few clears and nothing else.

The general consensus is that this card has a much worse drop rate than other EXs which doesn't mesh with glamour rewards that take very few clears to achieve, for those who even want to spend time farming for them.

Make it 50, 99, 200, any amount of totems to give an end point to grinding this dead content.

Just put it on an NPC or make the card like a straight drop (kinda like how the 24 mans are). Anything more then like 5-10 totems would be too much considering that G+Warrior is only 1 run each of 3 different EX fights.

Farming low drop rate cards in instanced battle content is one of the most punishing time:reward ratio activities. I got tired of running long fights repeatedly and not seeing cards. Would love more cards to be available by playing cards, with the battle content being an alternative method, not the only method.

Hopefully they look at this in the future. Now that they bumped the droprate from playing NPC's (which is a brilliant change and has made TT far more enjoyable and worth getting into), there's a disparity between cards obtained from playing and low droprate cards from instances.

Yeah. Let us win all the cards by actually playing cards. Isn't that the point? Cards shouldn't be exclusive to battle content in the first place.

I wouldn't see the harm in this. While they are at it, I feel they should probably do the same with other Extreme only card drops.

Personally I'd like to get away with any of this 'grinding' nonsence (that's what the mounts are for) and just awarded us the card upon earning the Extreme trial achievement. Could do the same with dungeons too.
If not, then do the 24man thing and let us roll on it every time. This random chance is just so frustrating when you're trying to get a specific card.

So far there are only Thordan EX and Varis EX.
G-Warrior is kinda there too, but it already requires a totem from each Weapon EX.

I'm pretty sure the card from Seat of Sacrifice is extreme only as well unless they changed it.

Edit: Listed as a drop from either version on the Lodestone. Nevermind.

Have to say I agree with most here. It hadn't dawned on me that with this buff to NPC drop rates, we now have to grind regular battle content more for cards than we have to play the card game they're for.

I finally got Varis on my 52nd clear and had I still needed any NPC cards, I'm willing to bet I could have won them all in the time I spent waiting for my parties to fill.
