Yes but the motorcycle, without the map, would go the same speed as your other mounts with the map, would it not? Because now there's a faster speed. Not like it matters much in the long run like I said, becuase of how the map of Bozja is and how low cost the map is.The speed boost that the SDS Fenrir offers is only available in areas where said boosts are already available. So basically, you get to ride around zones where riding maps are purchasable for and are able to take advantage of that boost. Bozjan Southern Front's mount speed has been fixed from the start. The latest riding map doesn't change that, and it provides the same boost to SDS Fenrir as it does to every single mount one can use. All mounts have been on even ground in there, before and after this addition.
Yeah, but it's not even remotely pay to win as MPK suggests. We all know what they are though. To be honest, I think I misread your post a bit and mixed up some context so I apologize if there's some sort of misunderstanding here. I'm tired. lol
Generally speaking the fenrir bike does have faster base speed, but its just the same speed as if you bought the speed boost. Weather or not this applies to bozdja I've nary a clue. The only "PtW" thing about it is on new x-pacs since you'll have the faster movement from the start. Not that the minor speed increase matters since flying speed is identical to ALL mounts and, as mentioned by others, the speed boost items for zones are generally very easy to obtain anyway. It's more of purchasing a QoL thing but if you drop that kinda cash for something so small then I can only envy the amount of disposable income you posses.
Actually no. I did some testing to see since I hadn't bought the riding map yet.
Timing from the moment I touched the gate of the main camp to the lake in the south, it took gabriel about 32~ seconds to reach. It took the SDS Fenrir only about 24 following the near exact same route. So the Fenrir is receiving the enhanced speed boost in Bozja of the riding map without having purchased it.
Post purchase it took Gabriel the same 24-ish seconds to reach, and Fenrir also still took 24-ish seconds. Just technically someone starting brand new in Bozja with Fenrir would have a small mount speed advantage than someone without one.
But ultimately it's not that big of a deal. The riding map is extremely cheap and can be gotten in about 20-30minutes of a good cluster farm, it's just clear they're trying to find any reason whatsoever to hate on Bozja, no matter how much of a non-issue it is.

Oh, gotcha. I just assumed that since it was fixed from the get-go that it remained that way. Thanks for the information. But yeah, still not a big deal. Getting the map is easy, even if you aren't cluster farming. I got a lot of clusters just by doing skirmishes.Actually no. I did some testing to see since I hadn't bought the riding map yet.

Its fine! My orginal post was saying MPK was right about the speed but not right about it being pay to win lol. I do know not everyone reads patch notes and may not have known about the map.
What's the "win" part of this equation? Getting to FATEs faster? I hate grinding FATEs, that's not a prize it's just more work.
If the internet has taught us anything, it's that being able to claim "First" is of utmost importance. If you're not declaring yourself first to the FATE, are you even winning?
