Team is pretty transparent in my view. I have two friends affected by the 0 bug so hopefully they'll get it resolved quickly. Both are on Materia.

Frankly I'm happy to be wrong. A communications error leaves no doubt about the validity of the winning bids.

It's better to be pleasantly surprised than correct about something bad. Glad to see the 0 bug is getting fixed and the plots given to the right people!

Admittedly, I know I said this was an "Off by One" error and i am glad that I was incorrect. In this case, the results maintained on the server that ran the actual lotto actually were maintained and the issue was a communication error between servers, which is something that is considerably harder to test for and also is not compromising the results of the original run of the lotto.

There are a lot of things that can cause that kind of error, so there were bound to be many wrong answers.

There were a few people that did actually correctly predict that the problem was server communication related, for what its worth.

Once this issue has been resolved, and lottery results can be relayed to the housing data servers without issue, it will be possible to confirm the lottery winners. Furthermore, players who registered for the lottery at the affected plots will not be required to register a second time. We ask for your patience as we work to recover data containing the results for these plots.

What does this mean? Like, I can take it in two ways as in either they're going to give the right winners the plot or we won't have to go back to the placard and register for the lottery again when they decide to unpause the system.
