I, for one, LIKED Windurst's design. Once it became functional to be there (shared auction house, region/maw teleports) I never left.

I don't know what it is about other people, but I prefer to have a city I can actually explore, not take 3 seconds to walk to one section, take 2 to get to the other, and spend absolutely no travel time at all. I think expecting that is asking a bit too much of Square Enix and really suffocates any room at all for creative design.

I am appreciative that they're taking consideration for some of the more bothersome areas, but I'm glad that I'll still recognize the city I've spent time in when 2.0 rolls around.
