Suspension of character creation: how long?

Well tbh it's partially the players fault as much as it is for the poor server structure, some people just don't log EVER, and even an inactive player takes up memory and space on the server when it's logged in. Given that probably 75% of players that are just sitting around in Uldah aren't even at their keyboards, I don't see any problem with giving them a good old kick from the server after a set period of inactivity outside of the wards. If they wan't to bazaar stuff, then go to one of the wards and let the system take advantage of the search feature to sell their wares quickly.

Yeah, I have so much lag in uldah even just trying to run from the leve desk to the market ward lol. There are a bunch of people afk in the adventurer's guild, outside, by the wards. And to make it worse, they're not even really bazaaring stuff. It's always 9999999999999 for something dumb that no one cares about. Oh well, at least 2.0 is only going to be out this fall hopefully

I'd really like to see this resolved...somehow D:.
My husband decided to start XIV again (to get the 90 days of gametime and the legacy perks for later), but he cannot join me on Aegis.
I'd love a way to either have him join me on Aegis via world pass or to let me leave the server so I could join him. Had I known that Aegis was going to be so busy I wouldn't have joined it D: but there's not really a great deal I can do about that now! haha.

I do hope to see this resolved though!

I'm in a similar situation with my best friend choosing to play... I hope they come up with something to resolve our problems soon...

I dont think it has something to do with us players, im telling this because is not our fault that everything is at Uldah, if they had a CITY chanel, so no matter where you are you can hear the shouts to join parties or a good looking for party system, or supose 3 npc one for each city that can trade totems, or quest guys like Luisioux or whatever is written at the primal camps to trade our key items for the fights, more spread main scenario quest... i mean after fade to white you have several quest linked to Uldah, npc's spread widely in the city....WE WOULDNT EVEN NEED TO BE AT ZONE A all the time.

I dont want to be asked to not go somewhere because the server will have lag, they can do this kind of stuff in lettered patches, move npc's and make that chanel with that you will solve a lot and of course the game engine should be less complex than this one to ease lag issues, because we are talking that if this game succeeds and im sure it will in the 2nd release we wont have minimal number of players that we have now... so is better start fixing this simple things to prepare the game
