this is easy destroy Uldah in 2.0 and get rid of its rotunda styled interior.

Decentralizing Ul'dah isn't happening until 2.0. Just make it so that Ishgard can handle more people.
Seriously, Ul'dah isn't getting decentralized unless they put some heavy tax on the MW in Ul'dah or something. Which would fit into the game's lore because they're a bunch of cheap people anyways.
I hardly see how being kicked if you're inactive for an hour can be considered "constant". How much time do you need for a drink, smoke and bathroom break? There is no need for this system if the devs do not try to overcrowd servers, Oh I need to run to the shop, come back dc'd, Oh I need to get a drink, smoke and wc, dc, constant dcs are a pain.
The problem is that people are crowding Ul'dah A-zone, there is plenty of room if we spread out, so that is thier priority rather than annoy us all with the constant kicks.
If you're not playing for at least an hour, I'd say it's absolutely fair that your "bandwidth" be freed up so others can have a smoother experience. Just log back in when you return. It takes a couple minutes.
Hell, some games will kick you back to character select after 20 minutes.
I really hope they do something about this during the welcome back campaign, I have 3 friends who are interested in giving FFXIV another try but they can't join me on my server and are also interested in the legacy member offer.
Like others I have friends wanting to try out the game and play but are unable to. Please fix soon.
I'm sure a majority of the players are willing to co-operate managing ourselves around the zoneline between Uldah-A and B.
As a suggestion though I would recommend implementing an non-optional auto-log out feature for players when a person has sat idle for 1 or 2 hours, at least as a temporary measure until the congestion can properly be dealt with or until 2.0.
I know it messes with people who actually sit outside the wards and bazaar, but if were going to bite the bullet either way I would much rather people who arn't playing be logged out, in favor of letting more people actually join servers, create characters, and actually play the game.
EDIT: Or alternatively we could always bring back Rolanmart!

Checking in, still no update
Greetings everyone!
As Yoshi-P mentioned a few weeks ago , Ul’dah is split into two zones and the problems related to congestion was stemming from zone A.
In order to give everyone a better idea of exactly how these zones are separated, we prepared an image to offer a good visual representation.
• Zone A = Red color
• Zone B = Blue color
As you can see, zone A is the often congested aetheryte and market entrance area. Please take and if possible, consider positioning your characters throughout zone B. Please note that shouts made in zone A will not be heard in zone B and vice-versa. We apologize for this inconvenience, but appreciate your help in working toward alleviating Ul’dah’s server issues.
