There is no need for this system if the devs do not try to overcrowd servers, Oh I need to run to the shop, come back dc'd, Oh I need to get a drink, smoke and wc, dc, constant dcs are a pain.

The problem is that people are crowding Ul'dah A-zone, there is plenty of room if we spread out, so that is thier priority rather than annoy us all with the constant kicks.
It wouldn't be "constant" if they set the right period of inactivity for it. Even if you are booted off it is really that big of a deal? Holy crap, people will have to click their mouse three times. Clearly too much effort.

Then there's the fact that, for obvious reasons, we won't have to deal with things such as waiting periods when logging in. It's an easily implemented solution that would at the very least alleviate some of the stress the servers are going under, if not eliminate it completely.

That would be great, but I could have sworn someone had stated this isn't possible on the current server system.
