Shadowbringers A marks non-existent for some people since patch 5.5

1. Join a party for The Hunt
2. Teleport to the meetup spot in Lakeland
3. Go to first A rank mob at called out location
4. go to second A rank mob at called out location
5. teleport to next area
6. repeat steps 3 - 5 until all areas are covered

Result: The A marks are non-existent to some people including myself. thus, no credit can be received by slaying the mark. This prevents capping for the week as some people are unable to participate because there is nothing to kill. Same for ALL areas in Shadowbringers.

It does not seem to be a problem for some, but 80% of the people there are complaining that the monster does not exist for them. My brother-in-law on PS4 does not have this problem, but ever since patch 5.5, I have been having this problem on my gaming laptop with all Shadowbringers hunt monsters. This has been an ongoing issue since 5.5. I have yet to contribute to killing any A rank since 5.5 dropped. This was NOT a problem BEFORE 5.5

There is a maximum "Character and Object" render limit which includes minions, chocobos, players and hunts. This gets reached sometimes, especially when The Hunt is popular, such as after a patch that adds rewards to them.

The best ways to improve performance are to be closer to the center of the hunt and to have the game installed on an SSD, which allows characters and hunts to load instantly.

If you use a PC you can set the render limit to its maximum by going to System Configuration, then Other, then Character and Object Qauntity and set it to Maximum.

This is not a bug but rather a render limit that has been set on purpose. Perhaps the "Maximum" could be increased though.

Target render priority was done for S-Ranks and NM world boss monsters way back in early SB.
It was mentioned at the time that was implemented that due to the game's spaghetti code, doing the same for A-Ranks would required a large and costly re-write/re-work of The Hunt system and monsters, so it was put off.
It wasn't that big of a deal at that time, because players could still limit their eye-candy setting to turn down/off spell effect and if everyone un-summoned their minions and Chocobo's, there wasn't ghosting/lagging issues.
However, with Cross World, now it can be trivial for a zone to be overloaded, especially after weekly reset and/or new tombstone gear/items launch.
Even with graphics and minions/chocobo tweaked, it can still result in ghosting A-Ranks and Congestion.
This is when the hunt train leader needs to step up and do chill-stops between zones and map-pins, plus to change the sequential routing to the hunt zones allow slower loading players to try to keep up.
So, if you are on a hunt train and missing marks, let the hunt train leaders know.

That said, to reduce your chance of getting stuck in congestion, if someone else in your party has started a teleport, don't start one of your own, ride their port.
Once you get to the aetheryte destination, move away from the aetheryte, as in move outside of the camp/town. If a lot of players hang around right at the aetheryte after porting, their presence there can trigger the congestion for others trying to port in.

Play a job that has spam-able non-target AOE's or go with a Healer or Tank job and get right into the hitbox of the mark and spam AOE/Heals/Tank-Enmity-Attacks, then back away slowly while attacking until the mark starts to ghost. Now you will be able to tell where the "sweet spot" is to stay close enough for it to not ghost.

Don't have your chocobo or minion out during the hunt, as they add to the "head count" of players at a mark.

Looking over your laptop specs..... sadly I must say, it is very sub par.
A gen4 i7 + a GF840m 1G is very low powered for trying to handle a 150+ player hunt.
You might be able to get better zone and load times by changing the HD to a SSD (assuming your 2tb drive is a hard drive)
I see it is less than a quarter full, so if you can't afford a 2tb SSD, you could go down to the 500gb~1tb range and save $$$.
But, I would suggest not putting too much money into it.
Do consider saving up for at least a gen9 iCore or a AMD Ryzen powered one, with at least a 16 series or better nVidia GPU, and one with NVMe SSD capacity for super fast drive speeds.
