Shortcut to add mats to crafting?

This seems mainly for housing roof/side items. Where you need 10 of this, 15 of that, 10 of another, and here 5 of those. Sometimes all I have are HQ materials, or a mixture. Is there a shortcut to add all, or just have to click them up arrows a bunch of times?

While I wouldnt be aware of a shortcurt, if its housing items: Why not turn all your HQ-mats into NQ-mats before you start the craft? HQ doesnt matter for furniture anyways and it will not only make crafting easier, it also means one less inventory slot. (On PC you can right click on HQ items and then pick the option to lower their quality - I dont know what the right click equivalent on PlayStation is, but it works the same way... bring up the menu where you can pick to use an item etc and you can lower the quality)

Unfortunately I still need some HQ mats for things. Some recipes have been tough for me without them. So mass turning is a no go. However, if I put all 50 mats for a house roof in my inventory, and then only turn those, that could be shorter. And althoough HQ doesn't matter for housing, don't you still get scaling exp gains for increased quality, even if it can't be HQ?

Yes, the XP you get for crafting an item is based on how much you increase the quality, so if getting XP is your main goal you are better off with NQ materials. With HQ materials you start with some quality, so then you can't increase it as much.

Oh, so you get exp on how much you increase the quality, not on what the ending quality value is (for same NQ/NQ comparisons)? I always thought it was the percentage of sorts that you ended up as, regardless of how much you increased it yourself by crafting versus HQ mats.
