Alternate Weapon Hilt Spots [Dev Request]

We need alternate weapon hilt spots to sheathe our weapons on. It would help with clipping a lot if every job had just one that were moved to a different position.

Rather than making a unique alternate sheathe option for most jobs.. they could just make the ability for every weapon to float by your side. At this point our characters are god like in powers. We have no reason why we can't use aether to float.

However, there are a few jobs that would need a little extra help due to extra equipment. They are the following:

Astrologian, Machinist, Samurai, and Paladin.

For Paladin both weapons would float together. For Astrologian, Samurai and Machinist, the hilts would move to an optional alternative spot. I.e. Swap hips, or move to the back of the character.

And lastly.. if possible Ninja should be able to sheathe its weapons on its back Deadpool style. Would be great for that job!

Anyway, I think it would go a long way in preventing clipping, would make us look stylish, and could have a cool little unlockable story behind it. Maybe its some kind of gift to us from the other Scions, Matoya, or etc during the story. Hell it could even be an Ascian relic from the time long ago that we manage to recover. Either way it would be a great feature, so long as it isn't terribly hard to unlock.

I would much prefer to sheathe both my blades on one side of the hip. But that's just my taste.

I agree, more places to stick our weapons would be nice.

Or....
We should have a follower with the required coconuts clapping to carry our gear , like a squire of old .
You know , I would pay to have one of my retainers to do that , with the glamour of my choosing , of course .

LOL I don't know if that is actually feasible, but MAYBE just.. MAYBE it could be put on our companion? Our chocobo carrying our gear around would be cute, but it would limit it to when they are out. It wouldn't be working in dungeons and stuff. :C

Dont think i'd be a fan of deadpool style weapon holstering but i would much prefer ninjas blades to be holstered behind them (think Ayame in tenchu)

However at the same time not sure how well that would work as many ninja blades of late are ridiculously on the large side.

Some of them if you watch the weapon skill animations you practiacally cut your own limbs off because the blades are so big. Used to think it was just lalafell but happens to miquote and aurai too.

I wouldnt mind a left handed option though.

You can hide weapons that are holstered if clipping is your concern.

I've always been a strong supporter of mirroring player models and animations for a left-handed WoL. Being a lefty irl it'd be nice to have that subtle, but nice touch.

I would VERY much like this if I could sheath the gunblade on my hip like Squall... It's just to small to be on the back and doesn't look right to me.

It's funny that the SCH and AST AF gear clips with their own, uniquely designed AF assigned weapon..

Pretty sure this isn't the only case.
