1. See prior patch notes that Square Enix supposedly fixed the drop rate on the "Eden's Promise" Triple Triad card
2. Run Eden's Promise: Eternity well over 100 times since March 2021 (after the drop rate was supposedly fixed)
3. Do not receive the "Eden's Promise" triple triad card after 100+ runs of this trial
4. Wonder if Square Enix actually fixed the drop rate of this card
5. Make a post on these forums asking Square Enix to confirm that the card actually does currently drop and, if it does not, to please fix the drop rate so that it will drop

Really? I've never seen another item in this game that's taken anywhere near 100 runs (let alone over 100 runs) to even see it drop. I have a friend who got the "Eden's Promise" card shortly after they fixed the drop rate, but it almost feels like it's "reverted" to not dropping again (perhaps as the result of a subsequent patch). I just want to make sure that it actually still drops because it's getting ridiculous at this point. I just checked one of the Triple Triad collection websites' data on this card and it looks like at least a couple of other (very angry) players are experiencing similar issues recently:

I had to do about 85 runs of Emerald EX before seeing the gwiber trumpet, so sometimes RNG be like that if the odds are low enough.

I don't know what the drop rate is supposed to be. It was apparently broken upon first release and would not drop (i.e., the drop rate when it first came out was 0%). They supposedly fixed that earlier this year, but there have been several patches since then and several people (myself included) are recently having the issue of having run this trial 100+ times and not seeing the card drop a single time. I am making this post in case the drop rate somehow got broken again as this is the most times I've ever had to run anything in this game to get a single item - and it is an item that was previously broken - so I just want to make sure that I'm not wasting my time trying to get something that may not currently drop at all.

Most dungeon minion drops and some orchestrion rolls take well over 100 runs unless you are extremely lucky. You can buy them from the market board, but for those of us who like to loot them it's very grindy.

I should point out that the mount drops from extreme trials can take well over 100 runs until the drop rate gets changed and even then a lot of people have to do the 99 runs still.

It definitely drops, at least pre 5.5. After the initial fix it took me 34 runs to get it. Looking at https://arrtripletriad.com/en/card-edens-promise it seems like the drop rate is still VERY low since people commenting there have done many more runs than I have and still haven't seen it. Unless something in 5.5 has broken the drop again, I'd say it's just a case of RNG just being really awful.

I've never seen an EX mount (even before the drop rates get buff) take over 100 runs to even see one drop; it make take 99 runs to have it drop and roll well on it, but that's a different matter. I say this as someone who has all of the ARR / HW / SB Extreme mounts (and I'm just missing SoS and Diamond EX from ShB, which I've seen drop numerous times but always roll like garbage on them). I also have all of the minions that drop from dungeons and, yes, while the drop rates are pretty bad, I've never heard of any of them taking over 100 runs to at least see one drop (again, it is generally a matter of it taking a ton of runs to see it drop and roll well on it).

Sigh... Perhaps Square Enix just decided that this of all fights was one that players have to suffer through a ridiculous number of times for a card that isn't even that good. I continue to run E12 about 3~5 times a day, so we'll see, but this sort of drop rate is just cruel if it's not actually broken. I really wish they would buff the dungeon drop rates instead of the NPC drop rates as this is one of two cards I'm missing and it's infuriating to have to keep doing this stupid fight with no end in sight. :-/

Alright, I've spent several more days farming this card and am really starting to think that it truly may be broken. I haven't seen this card drop a single time still; if this thing actually does drop, it is by far the rarest item in the game that I've ever encountered. Would someone on SE's side be able to confirm that this card will in fact currently drop from E12 (both Normal and Savage)?
