Do you need burped too? SE has made this pretty E-tard proof, but I guess not enough. There is a warning about this at the start of the dungeon, anything not in your inventory will be discarded upon exiting the dungeon.
Why? Its ur responsiblity to make sure you have room. It is not any1s fault but your own. No one needs to respond to something you can manage on your own if you cant well thats just too bad deal with it!!If your inventory is full and you just get a drop from a dungeon, once you leave and you didn't make room the item will be lost. Can S-E fix this please? Other mmos will either wait till your inventory has space and then it will be added to it automatically. Or it is sent to you by mail, which i know can't be done here since we don't have a mail system.
Can a rep comment on this and tell us if they are going to fix this soon?

My experience as a pathological inventory sorter, there is never enough space. I say this because when you get more space, you use it and fill it up, thus you need more. Having more space makes you open to the habit of collecting more items so you adjust and fill up the new space.
Best solution, like practically everyone is saying in this thread, is to sort your inventory before you go to the event/instance.
There is a yes/no for entering instances. Check your inventory before clicking the instance access prompt or click no and dump your inventory then reclick it. If there is no instance and you are walking into the area, sort your inventory before you tele out to the area. Sell your unwanted drops at nearest camp or shout to ls members that you have x loot and want to sell or drop it.
I keep about 50 slots open at all times but I also consider inventory sorting to be an enjoyable part of the game play. [see siggy]
If retainers had more space, it might free up a little bit of the issue even after we get our 2.0 bags. I know they don't want rmt to take advantage of it but right now, there are already a bazillion keyboard-smash-named rmt taking advantage of the retainers at the current level of space they hold.

Hai! I'm Vahl, in ur mmorpgs, sort'n my inventory and putt'n 2 many H's in my name since FFXI..FFXIV Inventory Tetris Champ

Inventory space is a big issue for me. unlike other mmo's that are usually One Job per Character. i have to keep a gear set for all 7 Classes not including Accessory sets there's about 100 slots gone. then there's not being able to Sort stuff by type and the delay it takes to manage a retainer is so dame long about 5 seconds tops to transfer on a good day 10 or more on a bad one.
when you had the Mog House/Job Changer you didn't have to worry about hauling 7 sets of gear around. you changed your job and swapped to appropriate gear on the spot.
while some of your numbers are exagerated for sure(5-10 seconds? takes more like 2-3)Inventory space is a big issue for me. unlike other mmo's that are usually One Job per Character. i have to keep a gear set for all 7 Classes not including Accessory sets there's about 100 slots gone. then there's not being able to Sort stuff by type and the delay it takes to manage a retainer is so dame long about 5 seconds tops to transfer on a good day 10 or more on a bad one.

the issue at hand isnt inventory space, but peoples failure to feel its their job to manage it
they feel like the game should vendor stuff for them, the game should know what they want and dont want and do what they want to it without having to actualy do the work to do it themselves
its not even an issue of time constraints, but pure laziness for the sake of being lazy and blaming it on lack of convenience
thats why they are asking for add ons to do all that i mentioned above

don't Assume to know how long it takes ME to sell and manage MY stuff. it takes ME 5 seconds on a good Day to complete one Transaction, also don't assume that i cant/dont want to manage my stuff.
truth is i have no problem with Managing my gear, I do have a problem with a system thats Working against me. whatever the case may be the current system is in dire need of reform.
Yes, it can take a long time to exchange an item with vendor (I've seen it take up to 5 seconds, and lag can be horrible some days).don't Assume to know how long it takes ME to sell and manage MY stuff. it takes ME 5 seconds on a good Day to complete one Transaction, also don't assume that i cant/dont want to manage my stuff.

Yes, it can take a long time to find your gear on your retainers and transfer them over.
However,
Still not a valid reason why one can't keep 5 slots empty before going in to a raid. (Unless, maybe, they are that one super adventurer that toggles between 7 jobs and 14 sets of gear and a dozen foods and potions on a single raid. Are you? Because.. because.. only Hildibrand is that super!)
