Does anyone like the puke brown color of the trim for this dress? It's a pain to match with dye colors.

This highlights just how needed a more in-depth dye system there should be. This game is severely behind the times compared to pretty much every other mmo with how limited its dyeing system is. Not being able to highlight different parts of our attire is one of my biggest gripes with the game imo.
It matches Aldgoat Brown dye. It isn't inherently worse than white but it does affect what colours you can use with the dress.
I made an outfit that works better with the brown that I'm quite happy with, so it's not all negative, just different things you can do with it.
Really the best route would have been to make two versions of the dress, one with brown trim and one with white. I don't see why the Rebel Coat was the only thing to ever get that treatment.
I was really disappointed when I saw the color of the collar and trim.It doesn't look good at all with most light/pastel dyes. I wish they had just made them the same as the default color of the frontier gloves. Wouldn't that make more sense anyways?
Yeah I'm glad I'm not the only one who's a lil "eeeeeh" about it. It's cute with some colors but that cream trim doesn't work with a lot. They could make it much lighter and it still be cream-ish. Or it could be a much lighter version of the dyed color. I still love the dress though, it'll be a while before I can afford/make it though.
I can't remember how long ago but someone did ask about a more advanced dye system during a Q&A.This highlights just how needed a more in-depth dye system there should be. Yoshi-P gave the usual "The servers couldn't handle it" answer. :/
I think a system like that isn't top priority if it was ever given any thought. I can't imagine being able to color everything on an outfit or even on every dyable piece of equipment. Maybe for special glamours there could be a secondary dye option??? But I think majority wise it works fine; it makes finding a matching color scheme fun sometimes. This highlights just how needed a more in-depth dye system there should be. Yeah, while subjective, it's not a good looking color. If a part of a glam item is not dyeable, it should be dyed in a more neutral color, white, black, grey and such so people can dye it in any color they want and it works together. I'm not interested in getting this dress, the shoes and ribbon are nice though.
I dislike the style of the dress. I'm thinking about the gloves.
I would at least like a secondary dye color on the gear... if not a tertiary option on some of them. I get that it'd be a complete nightmare to do that as you'd have to rework every single item in the game... but I should be able to make myself look like the morning after technicolor palette had a few too many shots the night before if I so choose.
