    Display Subcommands Keybind not working properly

    Up until literally about 20 minutes ago, when I would press the NUM* button, it would automatically display the subcommand menu for the chatlog. It's one of the few default keybinds I left as is and haven't touched. I was gposing and alternating between walk and run in Coerthas Western Highlands, and now all of a sudden, it doesn't do that anymore.

    I am currently only able to get display subcommands under the following conditions:

    A) cycle through HUD elements with NUM1 and then press NUM* to display the subcommands, or
    B) click on the chat settings gear and exit. Then I can press NUM* and it defaults to the chat log like it did previously, but only once. Then it stops working again until I open chat settings again.

    This is incredibly annoying and I've not had any problems with this up until now. I went back and restored the default keybinds and remapped my ENTIRE HUD setup trying to solve the problem and it's not working. I thought maybe it was because I accidentally turned off num lock in toggling between walk and run (as the NUM/ is my default toggle there and might have hit it a couple of times) but it doesn't seem to be the problem.

    Here's a video of me demonstrating the problem. The first seven seconds or so are me fruitlessly trying to press the NUM* with no response, then I check the keybind to ensure it's still mapped correctly. Then a few more seconds of trying to press NUM*, still with no result, I use NUM1 to cycle through to the chatlog and successfully pull up subcommands. I press the gear for chat settings and close, and I'm able to get it to work exactly once before it goes back to not working. I gave it one last attempt, still nothing, video ends.

    Please help? I'd greatly appreciate it.

    EDIT: I came to the forums to post about this problem, and all of a sudden everything was in French. I switched it back, reloaded the page, and it was in French again. I freaked out and changed my password really quickly just in case of the possibility my account got hacked?? Could that have caused the keybind issue? Now that I think about it, I noticed when I went to check the keybinds the first time, before I reset it all to default, that the NUM1 key had been changed to "reset camera to default position" and not "cycle through HUD elements" like it is by default... Now I'm scared my account's been compromised...

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    I apologize for the delay in our response to your concern. Does this issue occur after the drivers of the keyboard are updated? Additionally,

    Nothing was updated except for the game. The issue started shortly after the release of 5.5 if I recall correctly. I tried updating keyboard drivers (they get a weekly update anyway with my current software) but I'm still having this issue. If you have any solutions I'd be grateful to hear them ;;
