it's unironically the change introduced in 5.5 I like the most along with the load times improvement

It's terrible, specially with targets that are far away
I hope they give us an option to choose btw the old and the new if this is working as intended
It's sharper but lack of outline to make it pop in busy backgrounds.
I also wish to have a separated option for nameplate name for size scaling especially aside from color.
Seems like it lost it's boldness? Like it's now Lucke Arrayo instead of Lucke Arrayo. Maybe that's just me, does it does strain my eyes a bit. Maybe I just gotta get used to it.
I'd like to add on the PS5, if you scale the UI to 150%, on a 4k TV, everything is about perfect, minus the font size on characters, summoning bells, etc, it's just way to big. There is options to increase the size, but not decrease. They really need one or two options for smaller UI font. The two friends that have a PS5 playing on FFXIV have said the same thing. When you increase the UI scale, it blows up the font and is way to big.So far as I can tell, the font is a vast improvement at high resolutions, like 4k -- and it's definitely more clean and legible on the PS5 in my opinion. But it doesn't seem to scale as well to lower resolutions, and it also doesn't seem to play so well with some graphical post-processing systems (
The new UI is intended for 4k displays I believe - so while it's available for computers with smaller displays, it's not necessarily like... for that? Correct me if I'm wrong, though. I'm not perfect.
I haven't even seen a difference. Have to look when the Servers come back. But can't be that different when I haven't even noticed after two days of playing
