    Maybe. However you don't get ultra rich by just throwing your gil at literally anything with a high price tag and for those of us with a lot of gil, a recolor of ShB Beast tribe mounts (probably the least prestigious mounts in the game and practically free hand-outs) aren't really that desirable. If I see someone on the gold Namazu mount, I don't really feel impressed. I could afford it easily but I'd probably barely use it myself, so there's no reason to buy it.

    Yeah. I've seen a few people say basically the same thing, or something along the lines of "I could but I'd be broke". I think they might have been more effective had the price been lower for at least the Namazu mount. 20-25 mil seems okay...ish, though I personally feel that they should have been maybe half that. More people buying = more gil taken out of the game. It is what it is though. It would have been nice to snag at least one of these but I won't lose any sleep over it. I don't need them.

    I don't think most people only go for mounts that they consider prestigious. Things can still have value even if they're easy to get.
