In the bad future/Eighth Calamity timeline, Midgardsormr doesn't regain enough power to rise again until after the Crystal Tower is launched through time. He's not gonna be waking up again for at least a few generations. So, more than likely, his power is still far too drained to be of any use to Fandaniel.
