A Request For More Gear Like 2B's Bottoms

When FFXIV become ARR, character models were changed. Many players did not like the changes to butts.

In addition, individuals have been asking for changes to the character creation screen to have better customization options. Finally, there is the huge issue of Vierra and Hrothgar not being able to wear most headgear.

The hurdle which has prevented most of this from being enacted has been the time and expense it would take to make all of these alterations to the base models.

It seems to me there is an easy workaround already in the game. Gear.

S.E. can provide the player gear which change their characters body. Items such as 2-B's bottoms, Krile's Attire, and Minfilia's Modish Attire show it can be done.

I request that S.E. continue this trend and offer new gear with effects such as better muscle definition, beard stubble, and hairstyles. The sky is the limit for the possibilities.

I was thinking more along the line of level one gear as recipes or rewards. You know, stuff meant for glamour. No one should be forced to wear gear which changes the character's actual appearance.

Nobody in the game is forced to look a certain way really.. we do have glamour on any piece of gear once you've unlocked it.

Joke aside, I think this idea is pretty neat and would benefit players of all systems!

Except that is..
1) Bannable
2) Is only viewable client-wise, meaning others can't see it

It just makes more sense to include it in the game itself

Thing is there, almost every top for females changes your bust size. Had an alt that I set the breast size to 0 and she looked flat without a shirt on, then I'd put on any gear, and BAM titties. But yes, I agree. I won't want gear making choices for me regarding how my character looks.

Any gear that is added to the game can be quite easily be glamoured over, though...

Except we have a lot of unique and highly requested glamour pieces (tank tops, hands that add short cuffs to tops) that also come with tattoos and extras we don't want. In fact, we have a LOT of gear already that change how you look, and most of them have some sort of add-on that makes them more niche than they need to be.

Tattoos have been a common request for a while, though. It'd be neat to get variants of certain pieces of gear without added 'baggage' but at the same time, it's nice to get access to tattoos - especially for 'tribal' characters - given that the character creator is in itself so limited.
