Thread: Reaper & The 13th Shard Theory

When a shard dies, the souls of those people merge with their equivalents on the first, but what if the void can't be merged? Those souls were transformed. I have a theory that when the warrior of light utilizes the reaper job, they actually tap into the version of themselves that is within the void.

The thing though, is Cuchulain. We know that Cuchulain was the warrior of light on the 13th, so I don't know how this could work. Thoughts?

They were -a- Warrior of Light. It doesn't mean they were our reflection.

Sadly that was debunked with the side story in ShB.

He's not our reflection, but likely a reflection of either Taynor or Nyelbert.

I personally hope the Voidsent is an OC and develops as a character.

But we will see. The demon reminds me of the creatures that appear in certain FF games when you cast Death spells.

Unless they do something of the wall crazy I'll just assume it's a blood pact of sorts hearkening to FF5 Necromancers with their pact command.

I personally don't think Reaper is a necromancer. Necromancer feels more like an evil caster. I wouldn't mind something like that with very foul magic. Something even darker than black mage. Would have to be a few expansions from now though. I don't see much room in the lore for it yet. Maybe if we go to the 13th again.

I don't think it's a necromancer. Is it somewhat inspired by necromancer? Sure, I'd believe that. But I don't see what Reaper does as summoning the dead or w/e. It's more like a pact with a demon.

The Specter reminded me of the FFX's Death, where it also has only it's upper body a single claw that is it's left, no face(as wearing a mask).

This Specter could be a redesign of that FFX being that you only saw when someone was casting death or doom.

As for lore reason probably just a lower tier voidsent bond by some specific magic, it may even try to break free when it becomes strong enough where we may get a bigger idea of what it is.
