Glagg's emotions are all over the place, and apparently Konogg was fully aware that Anogg was dead and didn't want to admit it to himself. Konogg seems to be wanting to use the spheres to bring her back. And as anybody who has played the original Drakengard can tell you...that is a REALLY bad idea.
